Rangers have decided to take their full allocation of 2,200 tickets for the Champions League trip to play Sevilla on 9 December, reports The Scotsman. The club were fined £18,000 and ordered to pay costs to Unirea Urziceni after elements of their travelling crowd rioted in Bucharest at the previous Group H match.
Reports suggested the club would consider turning down their allocation but Rangers chief executive Martin Bain said: "The issue was finely balanced. Declining our allocation was considered seriously in view of the events in Bucharest but it is evident a large number had already booked to travel to Spain and would have gone regardless.
"We have discussed the matter with supporters groups who share the club's desire to eradicate poor behaviour by a minority at some matches."
