Scottish champions Rangers stand to make a cool £1.35million if former player Charlie Adam joins Liverpool this summer. The 25-year old Blackpool star is set to depart Bloomfield Road with Anfield a very likely destination and it will benefit 'Gers to no end after he spent six years at Ibrox at the start of his career.
Adam's move to Liverpool for £9m will reportedly happen this week meaning Ally McCoist's transfer budget will increase due to the sell-on clause they added in the Scotland international's contract which will get them 15% of the transfer fee.
Blackpool co-owner Valeri Belokon will get around 30% after personally financing Adam's £500,000 shift from Rangers to Blackpool in August 2009 while the player will get 10% himself and Seasiders boss Ian Holloway a small portion according to SunSport.
