Rangers assistant Kenny McDowall has confirmed the club will take a close look at Sone Aluko.
The 22-year old England-born Nigerian winger is a free agent after departing Aberdeen at the end of last season and 'Gers will have him on trial before making a decision on a short-term deal.
"It was brought to our attention that Sone was available so we've taken the opportunity to get him in," McDowall said.
"We'll take a look at him and see if we fancy him. In games against us for Aberdeen he always played well."
