Rangers coach Durrant hoping for Weir stay

Rangers first team coach Ian Durrant has revealed that he would love to see veteran David Weir stay on as a player.

The 41-year old defender is still unsure about his future but Durrant feels he still has plenty to offer to the Scottish champions.

"Davie is a great person around the dressing room and has been our leader for the last four years," he said.

"Hopefully he and the boss can come to an agreement."
