Rangers are closing on a deal for Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria.

The Mirror says Rangers are on talks to take Ejaria on-loan next season.

Their hopes of a deal, however, is facing delays.

Gers were hoping to announce the 20-year-old as Steven Gerrard's fourth summer signing following the captures of Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor and Jamie Murphy.

He is still expected to follow Gerrard north from Anfield, but it could take a few days to get the move across the line.
