Rangers chief executive Charles Green has been cleared of bringing the game into disrepute and failing to act in the best interests of football.
The Yorkshireman was accused of the two acts after he allegedly questioned the integrity of a Scottish Premier League-appointed independent committee which will oversee whether or not the Ibrox club is guilty of paying players with illegal methods.
Yesterday at a meeting at Hampden, Green was cleared and he was delighted with the outcome, saying: "I am pleased the judicial panel accepted today that I had not brought the game into disrepute."
Rangers fell into liquidation in the summer after failing to pay back taxes to the HMRC and are now being investigated for supposedly using an Employee Benefit Trust (EBT) to pay players and staff in a bid to avoid paying tax.
