Rangers are eyeing Wigan Athletic reject Oscar Boniek Garcia.
The Scottish Sun says Boniek was heartbroken when a potential three-year deal with Wigan collapsed.
Agent Jean Marc Goiran confirmed: "Rangers have been scouting Boniek very closely. He plays for Olimpia and can play right-back or right side of midfield.
"Boniek is a proven Honduras international who has played 43 times for his country.
"Rangers like him very much. In my opinion he is the best player in the Honduran league right now without any doubts.
"He can be the next one to follow Izaguirre and move to Scotland from Honduras.
"Rangers know everything about him. They have watched a few DVDs and even sent a scout to check on him playing."
