Rangers and Celtic are chasing Palermo defender Dorin Goian.

Goian hasn't quite won over the Stadio Barbera fans due to injuries and is on the market this summer.

Rangers came in for the 30-year-old first with an offer of around €500,000, but it's reported Celtic have now dived in.

It's believed the Hoops have proposed a more advantageous financial deal to snap up Goian for the SPL.
