Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra could be out for a few weeks if scans show any damage to his injured hamstring.
The 28-year old Algerian has traveled to his homeland for scans and specialist tests in the hope that the potential tear he sustained in Sunday's Scottish League Cup final win over Celtic is not too serious.
Early reports suggest that Bougherra could be out for a month which would put a huge strain on Rangers' title hopes but if he can avoid a severe tear then he could be back within a couple of weeks.
