Rangers boss Smith not thinking about final Gers game emotion

Rangers boss Walter Smith admits he'll be relieved when the final whistle goes today.

Smith takes charge of his final match as Rangers manager and was asked whether he will be able to enjoy the occasion.

He said: "I'm not so sure you enjoy the games when you are in them.

"It's your workplace, you don't get time to think about enjoying it, you don't sit in the stand and say 'I'm enjoying this'.

"You sit in the stand knowing you have to put all your concentration into what's happening on the field.

"You just have to wait for the end result to see whether you enjoy it or you don't.

"Everybody keeps saying it's the last one, but it's the same as going into any of the other ones I've been fortunate enough to go into. It's just exactly the same.

"The fact it's my last one doesn't make it any better or worse, depending on the circumstances."
