Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra admitted boss Walter Smith gave his team a roasting at half time after a weary first half display against Celtic. The Gers improved in the second half of a game which ended 0-0.
He said: "He was angry - the angriest I have ever seen him, and I understand why.
"He wanted more spirit and you saw the difference in the second half.
"We played much better, we had much more spirit and more motivation.
"The boss was right because sometimes you can be a bit sloppy.
"He is a very good man and when you see him angry then you know that something isn't good.
"He was happier with the second half."
