Rangers boss Ally McCoist hopes to have funds to replace crocked attacker Steven Naismith.
But he's unsure whether he'll have cash to splash with the tax case against the Ibrox club still pending.
McCoist revealed: "I haven't had a good chat with Craig about January. I don't have any doubt we'll be speaking and we'll go over one or two things. In an ideal world we'd like to replace Steven in January but we're not in an ideal world at the moment. That is pretty obvious and time will tell on that. If you lose your top scorer you'd like to replace him."
