Rangers boss Ally McCoist has admitted interest in West Bromwich Albion midfielder Graham Dorrans.

The former Livingston man has been linked with a move to Ibrox as a possible makeweight in a deal for Gers striker Nikica Jelavic.

"He [Dorrans] is a player I like," McCoist told the Sunday Mail. "There has been no contact between the clubs but I like him."

Asked if any deal would be permanent or whether a loan would be possible, McCoist replied: "No idea."
