Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is targeting Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria.

The Sun says Gerrard is raiding Liverpool to sign exciting prospect Ejaria for Rangers.

Gerrard has gone back to the Kop for the youngster who was on loan at Sunderland last season.

Attacking midfielder Ejaria, 20, can move out again and Gerrard expects to tie up the formalities this week.

Gerrard hopes to use his contacts to get other Liverpool talents like Ryan Kent and Harry Wilson, but Jurgen Klopp is yet to decide where they play next season.

Ejaria is far enough down the pecking order to be released.
