Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard is looking for Rangers' new signing from his old club's squad.
The new manager of the Scottish giants is interested in bringing in Liverpool's prospect Ben Woodburn on loan, the Daily Express have claimed.
The 18-year-old starlet became Red's youngest ever goalscorer in 2016 after scoring in the EFL Cup aged just 17 years and 45 days, breaking the record of club legend Michael Owen.
Woodburn has already made seven appearances for the Wales national team, finding the back of the net once.
Steven Gerrard has made three signings as Rangers boss so far as Alan McGregor, Jamie Murphy and Scott Arfield have all arrived.
