Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has pulled the plug on a move for Manchester City midfielder Kean Bryan.
The Scottish Sun says Gers backed out after the 21-year-old's medical.
A three-year contract worth around £2.5million in wages and signing-on fee was on the table.
But Gerrard will continue his search for a left-sided centre-half elsewhere.
He had been keen to make Bryan his 11th signing of the summer after the defender starred alongside his cousin Anthony Gerrard at Oldham last season.
