Rangers boss Walter Smith has confirmed his interest in Portsmouth defender Dejan Stefanovic.

Smith told Rangers News: "Stefanovic is one of a few players we are looking at and will continue to look at until the transfer window is closed.

"We have to continue to look for players for one or two positions where we feel we might be a little bit short.

"We have been looking at some players but it doesn't necessarily mean that we will act."
