Charlie Adam insists he has no intention of quitting Rangers in the January transfer window.

Reports this month claimed the 23-year-old has been told by boss Walter Smith he is free to find a new club and he was linked with Nottingham Forest.

"I'm happy at this club and I still have three-and-a-half years left on my contract," he said.

"I'm happy being at Rangers and being a Rangers player. Unless someone else thinks otherwise, then I'm happy to be at this fantastic club."
