Nile Ranger will stay with Newcastle United for the remainder of the season.

The Sunday Sun says Ranger will NOT be going out on loan again. The striker has a broken bone in his foot that will rule him out until at least March - and that means no temporary switch for the troubled teenager before the end of the season.

Ranger had been playing well for Barnsley before the injury, which was suffered during the Tykes reverse at West Ham last month.
