Rangel happy to put down roots at Swansea

Angel Rangel is delighted with his new deal at Swansea City.

The Spanish fullback admits he now feels Welsh after his time at the Liberty since their days in League One.

"Yeah well, you know I don't want to say I am Welsh because I am not but obviously I've been there for long enough now to feel Welsh because I am married with a Welsh woman, my kids have been born in Wales and you know overall I think I feel like at home here now. You know I'm building a house in Swansea and hopefully I will stay here for a long, long time. The future will say, but I have to say that from day one until now it has been a great experience and hopefully I can carry on until my legs say no more and then we'll see, but for sure I am enjoying it." Rangel was speaking with Ian Wright of Absolute Radio's Rock n' Roll Football. Every Saturday from 5pm on 1215AM. For more, visit absoluteradio.co.uk/football.
