Aaron Ramsey took 14 matches to break his scoring duck for Arsenal this season.
The Welsh midfielder scored in the weekend's come-from-behind 2-1 win over Preston North End in the third round of the FA Cup and is now planning to swiftly add more to his tally having finally gotten off the mark for 2016/17.
"I've had a few chances in the last few games and I've missed a lot of football this season, so I was happy to finally get that goal," he told Arsenal Player.
"Hopefully now I can get a few more of them.
"I've been working hard to get back to full fitness and I've played the last couple of games, so hopefully now I can stay fit and have a good end to the season."
Ramsey, 26, will be eager to make it two in two when he steps out for the Gunners in south Wales against Swansea City on Saturday.
