Aaron Ramsey has hailed the new British core to Arsenal's team.
With Carl Jenkinson and Kieran Gibbs in the full-back positions, Ramsey improving and Jack Wilshere and Emmanuel Frimpong returning from long-term injuries, Arsenal are developing a group of young British players who Ramsey believes will benefit the atmosphere within the squad.
"It's important for a team in England to have that Britishness because sometimes you have to grind out results and get stuck in," said Ramsey.
"The team spirit is good. Everyone is bonding, gelling together, helping each other out. Communication is a lot better on the pitch and we're feeling confident. We haven't had a full squad for a long time now so it's good to have competition."
