Aaron Ramsey has no regrets over his move to Arsenal.

The Gunners beat off competition from Manchester United and Everton for Ramsey, who said: "The manager told me exactly what path he wanted me to take at Arsenal and how he would improve my game.

"When you look at Arsenal you can see all the youngsters Arsene Wenger has turned into great players. And that success was a big factor in my decision to come here.

"Every time I play for the team he talks to me and tells me how he thought I did and what areas of my game I can improve and develop. And that has been really helpful."

Ramsey is already looking ahead to next week's FA Cup fourth-round clash at Cardiff.

He also told Arsenal magazine: "I had to smile when the draw was made and I've had quite a few of my old team-mates on the phone with a bit of banter.

"Thanks to them I know what's like to play in the final at Wembley. Now the aim is to go back there - with Arsenal."
