Tottenham are still weighing up the futures of their backroom staff.
The London Evening Standard says Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey, the long-serving youth coach, worked alongside Tim Sherwood with the first team during the latter's five months in charge. Sherwood was sacked two days ago and Ferdinand and Ramsey were called for talks at the club's training ground today.
While Ferdinand's future seems clear - indeed, he is scheduled to appear alongside Sherwood in a football programme on television on Sunday - Ramsey could be offered the chance to stay at Tottenham thanks to the work he has done with the club's younger players since joining in a decade ago. Yet the 52-year-old might feel that he was too closely aligned with Sherwood and Ferdinand to consider staying.
