Aaron Ramsey has defended the youth policy of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
He says the reason he left Cardiff was because of Wenger's track record in giving youngsters a chance a the top level.
Ramsey told the Daily Star Sunday: "Arsenal have a history of bringing in youngsters and turning them into great players.
"One comes to mind is Cesc. He came over here at 16 and became one of the best midfielders in Europe, if not the world."
And Ramsey has defended the Wenger approach to playing the game which has been dubbed "pretty but potless" after a six-year trophy drought at the club.
The young Welshman sees a bright future ahead for the Gunners and predicts it won't be long before the silverware arrives at the Emirates.
He added: "I think that the way we play is very attractive and everyone wants to be part of that.
"Hopefully now we can put that together and actually win something this season."
