A brace from Alberto Gilardino and an inspired effort from Adrian Mutu has lead Fiorentina to a crushing 4-1 win at Torino. Gilardino, who last week expressed his desire to lead the Serie A scoring table, did his chances a world of good with a brace in between strikes from Mutu and Kuzmanovic.
Viola coach Cesare Prandelli was understandably thrilled with the comprehensive result.
"We have given a sense of consistency to our away form after the good performance at Roma," he said after the match.
"Of course, scoring after two minutes gave us even more enthusiasm and took it away from Torino, as that momentum is everything in football.
"We must continue to improve, because we certainly have room to do so, and always seek the three points."
