Ramos: Real Madrid capable of winning at Anfield

Real Madrid boss Juande Ramos insists they can still win at Liverpool after last night's defeat. Yossi Benayoun headed home a late winner for Liverpool in last night's Champions League first-leg clash, but Ramos insisted at the final whistle: "If my team plays well, we can win at Anfield or anywhere.

"Our goal here was to win at our field to take advantage for the return leg. But it was a very close match, Liverpool had been waiting for their chance and finally used a free-kick to achieve their goal, but I think that the game was a clear zero-zero.

"I knew it was going to be a tactical game, very equal. We had the misfortune of that goal. It could not be and we have no choice but to go to Anfield looking for a victory.

"We had enough in attack to score, but for one reason or another it didn't happen."

Asked if he'll make changes for the Anfield leg, Ramos added: "I have not had much time to analyze. First I'll have to see what players we have. Now, one goal is not so important. It is true that the advantage now is with Liverpool, but there's 90 minutes left and Madrid can win at Anfield or anywhere else."
