Ramos cools Spurs talk

Sevilla coach Juande Ramos has shrugged off talk of a move to Tottenham.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and manager Martin Jol emerged yesterday to declare the Dutchman's job was safe.

Meanwhile, Ramos said in the afternoon: "I am very happy because there is much time to go until June 2008.

"My future will be evaluated at that date, I am not looking to generate any controversy. I am totally calm."

Ramos insisted that any stories about his future was natural because of his recent success.

"These rumours are normal because of the titles we have won, it is habitual in the papers."
