New Tottenham boss Juande Ramos had his players undergo a double-session on his first day.
Tottenham's players had only just begun to recover from their 2-1 defeat against Blackburn on Sunday when Ramos revealed that they would be put through two separate sessions.
The Daily Mail says although Spurs officials claim that the exercise was designed for the manager to familiarise himself with the first-team squad, it is understood that Ramos has huge reservations over their fitness.
Ramos armed himself with DVDs of Tottenham and England matches after he was originally courted by Daniel Levy in August and he identified the players' fitness as an immediate area for improvement.
That task began at Spurs Lodge yesterday with his assistant Marcos Alvarez, who has been brought in from Sevilla, and former Tottenham midfielder Gus Poyet.
