Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has assured his new squad that they will all get a chance to prove themselves.

The Daily Express says yesterday Ramos held his first full meeting with the players, during which he tried to reassure them he will give them the chance to impress before making any moves for his January transfer targets.

The news will have been a relief to goalkeeper Paul Robinson, midfielder Didier Zokora and striker Darren Bent, who all failed to produce their best form under Martin Jol this season.

As part of his assessment of the squad, Ramos is likely to field a strong side against Blackpool in the Carling Cup tomorrow night.
