Ramos apologises for skipping out on Real Madrid game

Sergio Ramos has apologised for skipping out on Real Madrid's victory over Real Valladolid to attend a bullfighting contest. The defender has been criticised for his behavior and said yesterday: "At no time did I do this with the intent to annoy, and if I did, I apologize to the fans, colleagues, and my club.

"I take responsibility and will wait and see if the club takes appropriate action.

"I spoke with Pedja Mijatovic and he said it was perfectly fine. If anyone has felt offended, I ask forgiveness."

Ramos added: "In four years here, nobody can question my loyalty to this club."
