Wigan boss Roberto Martinez will first decide if Ivan Ramis's knee injury is as serious as first feared before entering the January transfer market. Former Real Mallorca centre-back Ramis was stretchered off with suspected ligament damage in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Fulham.
"We've brought two new faces in (Roger Espinoza and Angelo Henrique) and we're trying to get one more.
"But the results of the scan on Ivan Ramis's knee may change things," Martinez told BBC Radio Manchester.
Speaking after the game, Martinez said he expected it to be a "long-term" injury.
