Ramires has warned his veteran teammates at Chelsea they can't go on forever.
Players such as Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, John Terry and Ashley Cole have provided the foundation for much of the Blues' success over the past decade.
But now all four are the wrong side of 30 and new Stamford Bridge boss Andre Villas-Boas has already started phasing out the old guard.
Ramires said: "You can't stop time. I'm 24, but I'll soon be 30 and younger players will arrive.
"I will also have to adapt. It's what has happened at Chelsea: the older players help with their experience, we learn and the club grows."
