Ramires is delighted with the progress of his career at Chelsea.
The former Benfica midfielder impressed in victory at his old club last night.
Ramires told the London Evening Standard: "I am very happy because when I arrived here I set myself goals to reach and I have reached them, which was to earn a new contract.
"But I am not going to stop there because the next thing I want to do is start winning trophies with Chelsea and make this club bigger and better than they ever have been.
"On a personal level everything is going well. I'm more adapted this year than last year.
"I understand the English game better, my team-mates, how we play, so that helps me with the timing of my runs and gives me more chances to score goals.
"On a team level we're still far away from our objectives because our aim is to always win titles but, hopefully, we can turn this around and start fulfilling our goals."
