Chelsea midfielder Ramires is hopeful the club will complete a deal for his Brazil team-mate Hulk. The Porto striker has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and appeared to pave the way for a potential transfer on Monday by suggesting it may be time for him to leave the Portuguese champions.

"I am here in Brazil, following the news about the likely signing of Hulk by Chelsea," Ramires told Lancenet while on holiday in Rio de Janeiro.

"I really hope he comes. I have played with him in the Brazil national team and we were on opposite sides while I was at Benfica.

"Of course, he would add a lot to the squad. If it was up to me, it would all be sorted already."
