Ramadan Sobhi was delighted to see action for Stoke City in their friendly defeat to Hamburg.

The Egypt winger says he can do better after being handed his Stoke City debut on Saturday when playing just over an hour of the 1-0 defeat in Hamburg.

The 19 year-old Egyptian international winger told the club's website: "I am really happy to finally be a part of the group and I am really excited to be here.

"I wasn't expecting to start against Hamburg, but I am very happy to play my first game with my new club.

"It wasn't my best performance, but I promise I will work harder to be successful at Stoke City and I'm really looking forward to playing in England."
