Raiola in Brazil to close Damiao deal for AC Milan

AC Milan hope to clinch a deal for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.

Italian super agent Mino Raiola revealed yesterday he was in Brazil doing work for Milan - and is being tipped to close an agreement with Inter on their behalf for Damiao.

Fellow Italian agent Emanuele Ricci, who now lives in Brazil, told TMW: "I cannot see him working on other targets.

"So I think Milan are working on Damiao."

He certainly fits the Ibra type backup that Milan is looking for. I'd certainly rather see Damiao get a chance than bring back Borrielo, or signing Amauri or Del Piero. Quags wouldn't be too bad, but he's not what Milan are looking for. Unfortunately, Milan is late to sign Damiao as he's already played matches for Brazil and his price has skyrocketed. ... and we all know Berlu wants free or cheap. Both Montolivo and De Rossi are going to be free on Bosman at the end of this year, move for both of them instead.
