Manchester United fullback Rafael da Silva admits the manner of their Community Shield victory over Manchester City has set them up for the season ahead.
Rafael says their comeback from 2-0 down was typical of United's spirit.
"We play to the final minute. No-one ever gives up here. Our coach, Alex Ferguson, has a great determination to win and this is what is reflected by his players on the field," said Rafael.
"Nani was very happy with his goals and never gave up when the ball was launched from defence for the third goal. I am very happy to have participated and won. Hopefully this is the first of many trophies this season."
