MLS Cup winners LA Galaxy have re-signed midfielder Rafael Garcia.
The 26-year old has penned a new deal with the Galaxy after spending much of last season with the club's USL PRO side LA Galaxy II.
Garcia initially joined the Galaxy from Cal State Northridge via the MLS Supplemental Draft in 2012 and made 11 appearances before he had the option on his contract declined after the 2014 season.
However, the five-time MLS champions have decided to bring Garcia back to Carson which delighted the California native as evidenced by his post on Twitter.
Thank you all for your kind words! Honored to keep defending the #LAGalaxy crest. Now let's do this again this year! pic.twitter.com/TPNasJiDoA
