Sporting Kansas City have confirmed a new three-year broadcast agreement with Sports Radio 810 WHB, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. Under the deal the station will continue as the official English-language radio partner of the Major League Soccer club until 2017.
The contract covers all of the team's games each season, as well as regular post-game and weekly chat shows.
"We are very excited to continue our partnership with Sporting Kansas City," said Chad Boeger, the president and general manager of Union Broadcasting.
"As a locally-owned and operated company, we are proud to support our home-town soccer team. We look forward to our partnership for many years to come." Sports Radio 810 WHB, which broadcasts to Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma, has carried Sporting Kansas City matches in each of the last four seasons.
