Racing Santander are being encouraged to make a new offer for Nancy fullback Jean Calve.

Calve is being made available ahead of the January market after a disappointing first-half of the season at Nancy.

Racing went well down the road with Calve's minders in the summer and French sources say they're favourites to land the fullback ahead of Recreativo Huelva.
