Racing Santander coach Miguel Angel Portugal is confident of keeping his job.

Portugal believes he will keep his job even if his side lose at home to Almeria.

He is under pressure following Racing's miserable start to the campaign, which has seen them pick up just four points for their opening six matches.

"I don't have the feeling that I am playing for my job," he said.

"The league season is long and there will be lots of ups and downs.

"But it is an important game for us and we need to be beating the teams around us."
