Racing Santander coach Marcelino has confirmed talks with Valencia.

Marcelino is favourite to move to the Mestalla in the summer following this week's dismissal of Ronald Koeman and he told AS: "There is contact between my representative and Valencia, as there is with others, but nothing immediate.

"There is nothing signed. If there is something, I would say so. In the last weeks the contact has brought an offer. There are contacts, for more than for a month, but no agreement."
