Qwest Field sold out for season, Sounders friendly match selling well

Seattle Sounders’ home ground, Qwest Field, has already sold out for most of the season with only 500 single tickets remaining for the regular season.

The Sounders attracted the best average home crowds of 30,943 in just their first year in MLS last term and it looks as though they may even beat that in 2010.

To go with the season tickets, Seattle has already sold 13,000 for Thursday’s pre-season friendly with the Portland Timbers of USL-1, indicating that Sounders fans are highly excited about their team’s sophomore MLS season.
