Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn says manager Roy Keane will attract quality players to Wearside for their Premiership return.
"We feel Roy Keane's presence could be the bit that might not have been at the club over the last few years," said the 40-year-old. "Roy has turned this place inside out and made it look and feel different.
"When we are showing off our wares to prospective signings, if you throw in the fanbase and the fact Roy has brought the whole thing to life, we feel we are in a much better position than Mick (McCarthy) was or Peter (Reid) towards the end of his time. Roy Keane will earn his corn in persuading players this is the place to come."
