Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn spoke to the players yesterday after Roy Keane's dramatic departure.
The Daily Mail says Quinn addressed the squad yesterday, telling them he wanted to lift the gloom surrounding the Stadium of Light, including reversing club fines, imposed by Keane, which will now be used for team-bonding exercises.
Quinn has handed control to Ricky Sbragia, Neil Bailey and Dwight Yorke as they prepare for the trip to face Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow.
