Quincy Owusu-Abeyie insists he can help Portsmouth beat the drop.

The former Arsenal winger has arrived on-loan from Spartak Moscow.

Quincy told Portsmouth's website: "The mood is good. I've been welcomed and there's a very good feeling in the squad.

"We're still confident and we have to remain focused because there are a lot of important games coming up. Unfortunately we're in the relegation zone but I know what this team can do and I know we can survive.

"The manager's great and the players are great - that's why I'm confident."
