Queudrue: I leave Birmingham just as things looking bright

Franck Queudrue admits he is leaving Birmingham City just as they're on the brink of big things.

The Frenchman is playing out the final months of his Blues deal on-loan at Colchester.

“It’s like a new club, Birmingham,” he told the Birmingham Mail, in reference to the direction and mood since Carson Yeung’s takeover.

“I think it always had the potential since I came here but it’s definitely started to grow again.

“It’s great what the new owners have done, the changes.

“They are, how you say, better man-managers, they are a lot different to deal with.

“For sure, I think Birmingham have got a good future and I would love to be part of it but, if not, then I look for my next challenge.”
