Queensland's van Dijk sure Tiatto has learnt from mistakes

Queensland Roar striker Sergio van Dijk believes the fiery Danny Tiatto will calm down for tomorrow night's all-important preliminary final. Tiatto has been in trouble recently, receiving red cards and fines for dissent but van Dijk thinks that he would have learnt from his mistakes and will be focused on helping the Roar qualify for the A-League Grand Final ahead of opponents Adelaide United.

"Danny is old enough and wise enough to know what has to be done on Saturday night and I'm sure he has learned from his mistakes," the Dutchman said.

"He wants to play in the Grand Final as much as the rest of the side and he knows we need him on the field for the full 90 minutes.

"People have to remember Danny is a very committed player and you can't change his style of play too much, or he begins to lack something in his game.

"He plays a bit on the edge at times...that's just the way he is."
