Queensland Roar playmaker Charlie Miller is intent on improving his fitness for the upcoming finals campaign.
Miller has been a revelation this season as a goalscoring midfielder but was out of action for seven weeks before returning for the final 10 minutes of the weekend's win over Sydney FC.
A lack of fitness has influenced the Scotsman to do extra work in a bid to be in prime condition for the A-League finals series.
Roar physio Tony Ganter confirmed that Miller was undertaking extra training, including extra sessions with the club's youth team.
"Charlie is doing some extra loading in training. It's a delicate balance in increasing his fitness without causing stress or injury," Ganter said.
Deep-water and treadmill running are also on Miller's agenda.
